(KNSI) — A member of the Hell’s Angels Minneapolis chapter is heading to prison for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says in 2019, 39-year-old Justin Schmitz sold multiple pounds of high-purity methamphetamine to an undercover officer for approximately $6,000 per pound. He pled guilty to one count of methamphetamine distribution in August of 2020 but fled from a treatment center in California and was a fugitive for three months before being apprehended and brought back to Minnesota.
Schmitz was sentenced to 14 years in prison and five years supervised release.
