(KNSI) – Deputies say a teenager was hurt after getting hit by a suspected drunk driver on Sunday afternoon.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says first responders were called around 4:45 p.m. after a 32-year-old from New London hit a car driven by a 16-year-old on 240th Avenue near 12th Street Northwest, about five miles northwest of New London. An accident report stated the 32-year-old was headed west while the teen was driving east.
The Brooten teenager suffered minor injuries. The 32-year-old was arrested on suspicion of DWI and is awaiting formal charges.
