(KNSI) – The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Stearns County until 2 a.m. Other counties included in the area are Meeker, Morrison, and Kandiyohi County until 2 a.m.
Thunderstorms will spread across west-central and central Minnesota this evening. Some could be severe for areas northwest of a line from Granite Falls, to Paynesville, and to Little Falls between 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The main hazards will be damaging winds and hail. The weather service says a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
