(KNSI) – A St. Cloud Rox player and Cold Spring native has been named one of the best infielders in the Northwoods League. The 2021 Rawlings’ Finest in the Field’ Award went to Rox’s third baseman Jordan Barth. The annual award recognizes the top fielders at each position. The winners are selected based on final fielding statistics compiled by the Northwoods League.
Barth played in 65 games during his third season with the Rox. He led all third basemen in the Northwoods League with a .943 fielding percentage.
During his Rox career, Barth was named a Northwoods Postseason All-Star following the 2019 and 2020 seasons and was selected to play in the Major League Dreams Showcase in 2019. He plays college baseball for Augustana University.
