(KNSI) — The City of Sartell has appointed a new supervisor for the Sartell Parks Department.

According to a press release from the city, Tony Krueger, who currently serves as part of the Sartell Public Works Department, will take over as Parks Department Supervisor on October 3rd.

Krueger managed facilities and grounds at the University of Minnesota Morris, and city officials say they are confident he will “be able to create a long-term vision for the Parks Department and use his skills and experience from the University of Minnesota Morris to build upon the City’s current park system.”

Krueger says he is “very excited for the development of the parks department for the city of Sartell, and for the opportunity to work with our staff to maintain and improve our parks system. I feel very fortunate to supervise such a committed and capable staff and I look forward to strengthening relationships with the various community groups who serve and utilize our parks”.
