(KNSI) – St. Cloud police are investigating three shootings, one that left a man wounded.

Police were called to the 300-block of 6th Avenue South around 2:30 on Sunday morning for a shooting. Investigators say a 32-year-old man was shot in the upper torso.
The man was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say the victim was with two friends when they got into a fight with two or three unknown males. During the fight, one of the suspects shot the victim. The suspect and his associates fled before police arrived.

Before the shooting, officers in downtown St. Cloud heard gunshots in the 600-block of 1st Street South and then in an unknown area south of Hwy 23.

Police say no damage was found and no other victims were found. Officers are investigating whether these shots heard are related to the suspects involved in the shooting in the 300 Block of 6th Ave S.

Police say this is an active investigation.
