(KNSI) – The construction of a new building will lead to a detour on a heavily traveled road in Sartell. According to Sartell officials, Pinecone Road north will be detoured for northbound traffic from 2nd Street South (near Walgreens) to 12th Street North. The detour will go in place on Thursday and remain until October 7th. The southbound lane will remain open with minor lane shifts.
The detour will allow construction crews to put in utilities for the new Centrasota Oral Surgeons building off Pinecone Road between 7th Street North and 5th Street North.
Centrasota Oral Surgeons is hoping to open the doors at its new Sartell location next spring.
