(KNSI) – A teenager was able to call 911 after getting into a rollover accident in Stearns County on Sunday.
First responders were called to the crash around 11 a.m. on 300th Street, about three miles south of Albany. The 16-year-old driver from Albany was the only person in the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
Deputies say he was going west on 300th street when he lost control and went into the ditch where the truck rolled several times before coming to a rest in a soybean field.
The teen was able to call for help. He was treated at the scene and released. The 16-year-old was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Albany Fire and Rescue and Melrose Ambulance.
