(KNSI) — A 66-year-old man was seriously hurt in an accident early Sunday morning.

St. Cloud Police say they were called about 2:40 a.m. to a home in the 500 block of East St. Germain Street for a man pinned against the wall by a vehicle. They say he had significant injuries to his arm and leg.

They say a 41-year-old Grey Eagle man was trying to move a van inside the shop, and his foot slipped off the brake, and he hit the accelerator, causing the van to lurch forward, pinning the man against the wall.

The driver immediately called for help. The man was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the incident was accidental.
