(KNSI) – Anderson Trucking Serivices Inc. in St. Cloud has promoted a long-time employee to Chief Operating Officer.

Mike Lakmann will be in his new position on September 1st. According to the company, Lakmann has been with Anderson Trucking for 25 years and has served in several key roles. The Sartell man was most recently Vice President of Operations for the ATS Specialized team. He also provides leadership for ATS affiliate company, Rochester, Minnesota-based Midwest Specialized Transportation, Inc. Lakmann started as a fleet manager and held roles in customer service, planning, and outside sales before moving into management.

ATS President Brent Anderson previously held the role of chief operating officer at ATS. Anderson will maintain his current position and responsibilities as president of ATS.
