(KNSI) – A direct mail and marketing company says it will close its Little Falls location, leaving more than 300 people out of work.

IWCO Direct is based in Chanhassen but sent a letter to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development notifying the agency of its intent to shutter its Little Falls location at the end of the year. Citing a “change in business needs,” the company apologized for the closure’s impact on the Little Falls community. Little Falls has an estimated population of just over 8,600 people. IWCO Direct employs 330 workers at its Little Falls office.

According to the company website, IWCO Direct designs and creates direct mail and digital marketing campaigns.

November 1st is the targeted date for roughly half of the staff to work their final shift. The other half will work through January 1st, 2022.
