(KNSI) – The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Stearns County.
The watch is in effect until 10 p.m. on Friday for Stearns, Morrison, Kandiyohi, and Meeker County.
The weather service says rain and thunderstorms are possible, with some of the storms producing heavy rainfall. Some storms may be severe with 70 mph damaging wind and tornadoes are possible. Ping pong size hail is also a threat.
