(KNSI) – Businesses in Sherburne County have until the end of the month to apply for help recovering losses caused by COVID.
The Sherburne County Board of Commissioners approved a program that makes grant money available for businesses suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Sherburne County businesses can begin applying for a one-time grant of up to $20,000 today. Applications must be submitted by August 31st.
The Small Business Recovery Fund is designed to help businesses that show they lost at least 20% of their revenue or anticipate a 20% revenue loss for newer companies.
Applicants approved to receive grant money will be required to have a 30-minute visit with an industry expert with the County’s Entrepreneur Lab program before receiving the grant funds.
