(KNSI) – A 20-year-old Sauk Centre man is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct after allegedly giving a teenage relative alcohol and sexually assaulting her.
According to the criminal complaint, on August 7th, police took a report concerning the sexual abuse of a minor who told police her cousin, Jose Briseno-Hernandez, sexually assaulted her. The 13-year-old told police she was spending several days at her aunt’s house, and Briseno-Hernandez was also there. August 5th, the girl says the two were drinking whiskey, and she became “extremely intoxicated.”
She says Briseno-Hernandez took her into his room, where he forced her to perform a sex act on him, held her down, and forced her to have sex with him. According to the criminal complaint, Briseno-Hernandez admitted he knew the girl’s age and told investigators he had been drinking and had sex with the teen.
He is due back in court Tuesday.
