(KNSI) – Family and friends continue to search for a missing Isanti woman who hasn’t been seen since last week.

Police say 32-year-old Amanda Jo Vangrinsven was last seen on August 5th around 11 p.m. when she left the Dugout Bar and Grill in Bethel. It’s believed she left in a vehicle headed in a northwest direction.

Initially, police said Vangrinsven was last seen “near” the Isanti VFW wearing a blue Twins shirt and jean shorts.

Police think Vangrinsven left work at the Isanti VFW with someone and went to the Dugout Bar and then was dropped back off at the VFW that night.

Vangrinsven was reported missing on August 6th after she didn’t show up for work.

Her vehicle was still parked outside the VFW on Friday, and the person with her is under investigation. No information on that person has been released.

A Go Fund Me page set up to help with the search stated Vangrinsven left the Dugout Bar with a man who has been identified. The family says it’s “completely out of character” for her not to show up for work.

A Find Amanda Facebook group says volunteers and family members intend to search the sometimes-rugged terrain until dark each day.

Anyone with information on Vangrinsven’s whereabouts is asked to call the Isanti Police Department via Isanti County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 763-689-2141 or call 911.
