(KNSI) – The legendary band, The Beach Boys, will be putting on a concert at The Ledge in Waite Park.
Concert goers can park in one of the 1400 parking spaces in the north parking lot or use the handicapped and VIP parking on the east side of the building.
The parking lot and box office open at 4:30 p.m. The doors to The Ledge open at 5:30, and the concert starts at 7 p.m. with the Beach Boys taking the stage. There is no opening act.
Events Coordinator Meredith Lyon says you don’t have to come early, but you might want to.
“We have a really efficient way of getting everybody in the venue, so they absolutely don’t have to come an hour or an hour and a half early. But because it’s such a beautiful venue and just to have an opportunity to walk around and see it when it’s a little less crowded. You know, take some pictures and that type of thing. I always recommend coming early just to be able to take that in.”
The show will be the third national act to play the amphitheater, but it will be the first time at Central Minnesota’s newest concert venue for many people.
Chairs are provided for all concerts at The Ledge, and fans can bring in one liter in a factory-sealed water bottle. No other outside food or beverages are allowed. One small bag is allowed and will be checked by security. Once a person leaves the concert, they will not be allowed back inside. There is also a designated smoking area.
COVID 19 vaccinations and masks are not required.
The Beach Boys started making music in 1961 and had 36 songs reach the U.S. Top 40, and four topped the Billboard Hot 100. Their hits include “I get Around,” “Kokomo,” “Help Me, Rhonda,” and “Good Vibrations.”
