(KNSI) – More details have been released about a stabbing in St. Cloud.
The St. Cloud Police Department says they were called to an apartment building in the 700 Block of 9th Avenue South around 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
A 54-year-old man from St. Cloud suffered multiple wounds caused by a knife. The victim was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital by ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers arrested a 60-year-old St. Cloud man at the scene.
Investigators say the man and victim are acquaintances and got into an argument over some property. Officials didn’t say what the property was. Police say the argument escalated into a physical fight, and at some point, the 60-year-old man attacked the victim with a knife.
The man was taken to the Stearns County Jail and held on charges that included 2nd-degree assault with a weapon.
