(KNSI) – A pedestrian is dead after they were hit by a truck late Wednesday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the 23-year-old pedestrian was standing in the roadway on westbound Interstate 94 east of Highway 25 in Monticello when they were hit by a Chevy Silverado. The driver of that Silverado, 49-year-old John Hanson of Little Falls, was not hurt. Investigators say Hanson was wearing his seatbelt and was not under the influence.
The name of the pedestrian, who is from Buffalo, has not been released.
