(KNSI) – A pedestrian is dead after they were hit by a truck late Wednesday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the 23-year-old pedestrian was standing in the roadway on westbound Interstate 94 east of Highway 25 in Monticello when they were hit by a Chevy Silverado. The driver of that Silverado, 49-year-old John Hanson of Little Falls, was not hurt. Investigators say Hanson was wearing his seatbelt and was not under the influence.
