(KNSI) – Tickets are on sale for next month’s School of Rock concert at the Paramount Center for the Arts in St. Cloud.
The 16th annual School of Rock is put on by the Wirth Center for the Performing Arts.
The two-week program is underway and immerses kids in the experience of being in a band.
More than 50 students in grades 6-12 are taking part in this year’s performance.
Participants pick band members, name the band, pick the songs, do a photoshoot, rehearsals, and perform on the Paramount Theater stage on August 5th.
Each band will play two cover songs in front of a crowd at the Paramount Theater.
Rehearsal is underway at Calvary Community Church in St. Cloud.
The concert is Thursday, August 5th at 7:00 at the Paramount Theatre and is open to the public.
More than 650 families, friends, and music lovers packed the Paramount Theatre two years ago.
Advance sale tickets are $10.00 + a $3.00 handling fee for each ticket.
Tickets are available at the Paramount Box Office.
The School of Rock concert was canceled last year because of the pandemic.
