(KNSI) – A young man was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital after crashing his vehicle near Eden Valley.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says around 7:30 on Wednesday night, a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Kobe Beattie tried to pass another car on 632nd Avenue in Forest Prairie Township when he lost control.
The Watkins man left the roadway and hit a field approach causing the vehicle to roll.
Beattie was taken by helicopter to St. Cloud hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies say excessive speed caused the crash.
