(KNSI) – A 54-year-old Brooklyn Park man is dead after a crash on Interstate 94 Sunday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the man who was driving a Yamaha FJR motorcycle was going east on I-94 at County Road 11 near Freeport about 9:20 when the bike came into contact with the rear of a Freightliner semi. Investigators say the motorcycle came to a rest in the median shoulder of I-94.
The 63-year-old semi driver was not hurt.
The motorcycle driver’s name will be released Monday afternoon.
