(KNSI) – One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash near St. Augusta Wednesday.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the scene of the crash at the intersection of County Road 7 and County Road 142 shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday. The sheriff’s office says the driver of a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado had missed her turn and was attempting to make a U-turn on a curve at the intersection when a 1998 Plymouth Neon came around the curve and the vehicles collided.
Both drivers were OK, but an 84-year-old passenger who was traveling in the Neon was taken to St. Cloud Hospital via Mayo Ambulance for minor injuries.
