(KNSI) – A St. Cloud man was sent to the hospital with minor injuries following a motorcycle crash Wednesday evening.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says at about 7 p.m., a group of three motorcyclists was heading south on 50th Avenue in LeSauk Township. As the drivers neared 23rd Street South, the lead driver turned east and his motorcycle left the roadway. The 23-year-old driver was thrown from the motorcycle as it flipped several times, landing over 200 feet away from the road.
The sheriff’s office says it believes speed was a factor in the crash.
The man was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for minor injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
