(KNSI) – Father’s Day is Sunday, and a new survey shows Minnesota is the third best state in the country for working dads.

The survey done by personal finance website Wallethub determined the best states for men who are parents and providers by comparing all 50 states and the District of Columbia by looking at 23 indicators for friendliness toward working fathers, including unemployment, health, insurance rates, and child care costs.

Minnesota was number one for a low unemployment rate for dads with kids under the age of 18. The state is also third-highest for male life expectancy and for the highest median family income. The state has the fifth-lowest rate for uninsured dads. The state was number one for economic and social well-being and for overall male health.
