(KNSI) – A controlled brush burn led to one shed being destroyed and another seriously damaged in rural Meeker County.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says its deputies, along with Eden Valley Fire and Rescue and the Litchfield Fire Department, responded to the report of a shed fire in Manannah Township at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say they found two burned sheds at the property in the 32400 block of Minnesota Highway 22. One shed and its contents were a complete loss. The other shed was significantly damaged in the fire. The sheriff’s office says no one was hurt and that the sheds caught fire from a nearby controlled burn.
A financial damage estimate was not immediately available.
