(KNSI) – Maintenance crews will be filling cracks and sealing pavement on sections of the Lake Wobegon Trail starting Wednesday.
The Stearns County Parks Department says crews will fill cracks along the entire trail (57 miles of its 65-mile-long stretch are in Stearns County) and do seal coating on the trail between Melrose and Freeport.
The department says the trail will be open during maintenance and trail users will just need to go around work crews if they are present. The county’s maintenance efforts are weather-dependent.
