For those over the age of 12, Benton County has a 36% vaccination rate; Morrison and Sherburne Counties each have 38% of residents over 12 with at least one dose of the vaccine. Stearns County has a 42% vaccination rate for those 12 and older. Wright County is leading the pack in the five county area with a 44% vaccination rate.

As of Friday, numbers show 54% of Minnesotans have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine.

The news comes as health officials and Governor Tim Walz aim to get 70% of adults vaccinated by July 1st.
