(KNSI) – A Grove City man is in jail awaiting charges after allegedly driving while under the influence and crashing his vehicle.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the scene of a one-vehicle rollover at the intersection of 728th Avenue and 220th Street in Dassel Township around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday. First responders found the 30-year-old male driver holding the passenger, a 31-year-old woman from Dassel, who was unresponsive. The woman was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries.
The sheriff’s office says deputies arrested the man after determining he was under the influence. He awaits formal DWI and criminal vehicular operation charges in the Meeker County Jail.
