(KNSI) – The cause of a house fire near Elrosa Sunday morning is under investigation.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office got a call about 4:45 a.m. from a man who said the entire side of his house, on County Road 13 in Lake George Township, was on fire. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Elrosa Fire, Belgrade Fire, Brooten Fire, and Sauk Centre Ambulance responded to the scene. By the time deputies arrived, they say the house was fully engulfed.
The caller, a 44-year-old man, was the only one home at the time. The sheriff’s department says he was not injured.
