(KNSI) – A virtual town hall meeting focused on women’s health is being held next month with the St. Cloud VA Health Care System.
The topic will be improving VA health care services for women.
The virtual town hall meeting provides women Veterans the chance to hear from and have concerns addressed by St. Cloud VA officials while observing social distancing guidelines.
The virtual town hall is on June 8, at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held using Microsoft Teams.
According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, 25 percent of people joining the armed forces are women.
In Minnesota, there are more than 25,000 women vets. That’s nearly 8 percent of veterans in the state.
