Mississippi River County Park near Rice is closed for a prescribed burn on Tuesday.
Officials use prescribed burns to help maintain and manage public lands.
Stearns County Parks will be conducting prescribed burns in a few parks this spring.
Weather conditions determine the dates and times for the prescribed burns.
