(KNSI) – Two people were sent to the hospital Sunday night after colliding with a deer.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says it learned about the crash shortly before 10 p.m. and responded to the scene in Green Lake Township. The 53-year-old driver and their 49-year-old passenger were riding a 1995 Harley Davidson westbound on County Road 10 near 51st Street Northeast when a deer ran out in front of the motorcycle, causing the crash.
The driver and the passenger were taken to Carris Health Rice Hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. The sheriff’s office says it’s still investigating the crash.
