(KNSI) – The National Weather Service says central Minnesota has the potential to see some isolated severe weather today.
The risk is at the marginal level.
Forecasters say heavy fog that blanketed the area this morning will burn off through midday before scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop along a cold front later in the day Monday. Some of those storms could produce locally heavy rainfall, hail, or gusty winds.
Warm, dry air is expected to move in for Tuesday with a high in the mid-80s.
