AMBER ALERT UPDATE: 8:10 p.m. (KNSI)- The alert is canceled. The children have been found safe and returned to their mother.
(KNSI) – An Amber Alert has been issued for two abducted sisters.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is looking for five-year-old Da’Zarionna Jackson and three-year-old Raziah Fane of Minneapolis.
They were taken on Sunday at 3:48 p.m. from the 2900-block of DuPont Avenue North in Minneapolis.
Police say an acquaintance of the girls’ mother, 32-year-old Ryan Edward Matthews, is believed to be driving a black Chevy Equinox with Minnesota license plate ERT-526 or possibly FZS-637.
The mother says Matthews threatened to harm the girls and law enforcement.
Fane was wearing a yellow unicorn shirt with pink shorts.
Jackson was wearing flowery shorts and a green shirt.
Mathews is 6’, 250-pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a tan Nike shirt and pants.
