Detours to be Posted Monday as Division Street Construction Work Continues

(KNSI) – Detours will be posted Monday in St. Cloud and Waite Park as construction continues on Division Street.

The Stearns County Highway Department says drivers traveling northbound on 6th Avenue South will be detoured across Division Street via 1st Street South and 10th Avenue South. Those who are going southbound on 6th Avenue can turn right onto Divison, but cannot cross.

A detour is also in place for drivers on 41st Avenue South who are trying to access Crossroads Mall on the other side of Division Street. Motorists can take the detour on 2nd Street South to cross Division. The county says drivers going to Crossroads from Division should use Waite Avenue. Motorists leaving the mall on 41st Avenue North can make right turns onto Division, but cannot cross straight through.

The county says these detours will stay in place for seven to 10 days.

Traffic on Division is still reduced to one lane in either direction.
