(KNSI) – The Minnesota Department of Health reports 1,306 new COVID-19 cases and nine deaths on Friday. One of those deaths was a Wright County resident who was in their 70s.
The five-county St. Cloud area sees 136 new cases.
Out of the 36,823 COVID-19 tests processed across Minnesota Thursday, 3.5 percent came back positive.
Right now, 464 Minnesotans are in the hospital with COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the state is getting closer to having 2.7 million people vaccinated against COVID-19. Currently, 48.4 of Minnesota’s total population is vaccinated with at least one dose. 40.6 percent of Minnesotans are considered fully vaccinated.
