(KNSI) – A Melrose man was hurt after a crash with a semi south of Freeport.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was called around noon on Wednesday for a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 11 and County Road 30 in Oak Township.
Deputies say Dale Winter was driving a pickup truck north on County Road 11 when a Semi pulling trailer pulled out in front of him as he approached County Road 30.
Winter suffered injuries in the crash. His condition wasn’t released.
The semi, driven by 65-year-old Randy Walls of Minnetrista, was going east on County Road 30.
According to the sheriff’s office, Walls stopped for the stop sign at County Road 11 and then drove into the intersection without seeing the truck causing the collision.
