(KNSI) – A person was attacked with a knife in Waite Park.
Police were called to the 500-block of Park Meadows Drive around 8:30 on Sunday night.
Investigators found the suspect had fled the scene, and the victim was being taken to St. Cloud Hospital after being cut with a knife.
The victim was driven to the emergency room by a friend.
Police found the victim was suffering from a severe laceration. The injury wasn’t considered life-threatening.
The victim was treated and released.
Police say the suspect is known to them, and their name will be released once the suspect is in custody.
According to a press release, there is no ongoing threat or concern to the public.
