(KNSI) – A Holdingford man is accused of sexually abusing two girls for years.
Prosecutors have charged 48-year-old Eugene Albert Loehrer with four counts of criminal sexual conduct in the 1st degree.
Police say the abuse took place between April 1, 2017, and April 29, 2021.
According to the criminal complaint, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was contacted on April 29 about two girls under age 16 who stated Loehrer had been sexually abusing them.
Investigators say Loehrer also used drugs with at least one of the children.
One of the victims stated the abuse started happening daily when she was in fifth grade.
According to the complaint, Loehrer would offer drugs in exchange for sex acts.
Court records state that Loehrer told one of the victims that he wanted to take videos of their ‘time together’ but couldn’t because law enforcement could find it, and he would get in trouble.
Loehrer told police he had prostate issues and couldn’t have sex. He also stated that he couldn’t deny the allegations because he has severe pain and blacks out.
