UPDATE:

(KNSI) – A 93-year-old dementia patient who went missing from Elk River has been found in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension say Roberto Solbalvarro was last seen around noon on Wednesday when he took his wife’s vehicle to a church in Elk River for a funeral. After arriving at the church and discovering there was no funeral, he said he was going back home to Big Lake, but never returned.

The BCA gave no other details about Sobalvarro’s condition other than that he has been found.

Police in Big Lake thanked everyone who helped look for Solbalvarro.

(KNSI) – Big Lake Police ask the public to be on the lookout for a missing 93-year-old man with dementia.

Officials say 93-year-old Roberto Sobalvarro was last seen at around noon on Wednesday when he took his wife’s vehicle, a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta (MN Plate – MZR 928).

Roberto said he was going to a church in Elk River for a funeral.

After arriving at the church and discovering there was no funeral, he said he was going back home to Big Lake.
