(KNSI) – The hostage situation at Wells Fargo Bank in St. Cloud, which had been going on for over eight and a half hours is over.
The suspect was taken out of the building shortly before 10:30 p.m. unharmed.

(KNSI) – A fourth hostage has been released. The hostage is a woman.

(KNSI) – A third person was seen leaving the Wells Fargo Bank building. It is a young man.
The hostages have been inside since about 1:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

(KNSI) – A second hostage has been released from the Wells Fargo Bank.
The employee is a woman.
Negotiations are ongoing. Wells Fargo says there were an unknown number of employees inside the bank when the suspect walked in.

(KNSI) – At least one hostage has been released from inside the Wells Fargo Bank South Branch in St. Cloud.
Our reporter on the scene says it appears to be a female employee who walked out the door with her hands up.

(KNSI) – Sources at the scene of a bank robbery and hostage situation at the Wells Fargo South Branch in St. Cloud say the hostages are employees, not customers. Police have not said how many people are inside.
Negotiations are continuing. No injuries have been reported.

(KNSI) – Negotiations have started in a hostage situation at a Wells Fargo bank in St. Cloud.
Police say there is an undisclosed number of bank employees being held hostage inside the bank.
Authorities say there are no reports of injuries. Police and the FBI are working on the situation. A SWAT team is also on scene.
Police say negotiations are ongoing.
Officers were called to Wells Fargo at 200 33rd Avenue South at 1:48 on Thursday afternoon on a report of a possible bank robbery.
In a statement, Wells Fargo Bank said the safety and security of the customers and employees are the company’s most important priority.
