(KNSI) – Stearns County continues its phased-in approach to reopening offices during the COVID-19 pandemic through May and June.
Starting Monday, May 3rd, residents can pay property taxes in person with an appointment. For more information, taxpayers can call the Treasurer’s Office at 320-656-3870. Just in time for graduation open house season, park shelters will reopen for rental, provided state COVID guidelines are met. Learn more by clicking here. Property services will have limited appointments for some recording, property transfer, and surveyor services. The offices are at the Service Center in Waite Park, and appointments can be made online by clicking here. The Reuse Store is also opening to walk-in traffic with COVID protocols in place.
Starting in June, Environmental Services and Veteran Services will start taking appointments at both the Melrose Office and Service Center. The Assessment Office, now located at the Service Center, will also start taking appointments in June.
