(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department says its Community Engagement Cop House Unit will partner with two other organizations to put together Eid al-Fitr candy bags for children.
In coordination with the Somali Women’s Professional Group and the CentraCare Diversity and Inclusion Department, SCPD is using its Cop House as a drop-off site for donations of prepackaged candy, juice boxes and water bottles. Those donations will be taken at 600 13th Street South in St. Cloud from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays until May 10th.
The candy bags will be given out at multiple event locations on May 13th. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan.
