(KNSI) – A 37-year-old St. Cloud man was arrested and charged after police found a large amount of suspected methamphetamine during a search of his apartment Friday.
Police say they executed a search warrant at an apartment in St. Cloud about 4:30 Friday morning. During the search, they spoke with Thomas Lovitt, who allegedly told officers he threw a bag containing meth out the window as an investigator came into his apartment.
Officers found the bag, which they say contained about 69 grams of suspected meth. They also say they found more meth and a synthetic opioid in the apartment.
Lovitt has been charged with felony first-degree drug possession. He is due back in court on June 9th.
