(KNSI) – The Minnesota Department of Health reports 2,167 new cases of COVID-19 across the state Friday along with 10 new deaths, bringing Minnesota’s COVID death toll to 7,064.
Around the St. Cloud area, there are 257 new cases: 18 in Benton County, 13 in Morrison County, 76 in Sherburne County, 86 in Stearns County and 64 in Wright County.
The state processed nearly 53,000 COVID tests on Thursday for a one-day positivity rate of 4.1 percent.
As for vaccinations, 2,376,700 Minnesotans have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. They represent nearly 43 percent of the state’s total population.
