(KNSI) — A 31-year-old Waite Park woman was arrested Friday morning after allegedly pushing, kicking, and punching a man and threatening him with a knife.
Ashley Freeman was in Stearns County court on Monday on two felony charges of domestic assault and one felony charge for threats of violence after police say a man told them Freeman damaged his car and then turned on him, pushing him and punching him in the face. He said she also kicked him in the groin area and threatened to cut him. He told investigators his children were present at the time of the attack.
Police say they found a vehicle with two flat tires and shattered windows when they responded to the call.
Freeman allegedly told officers she went into the home to get a knife and slash the tires but said she never touched the man.
Freeman is out on bond. Her next court appearance is May 13th.
