(KNSI) – A St. Cloud man was stabbed to death, and a woman has been arrested.
Police were called to a home on the 1500-block of 9th Avenue North for a stabbing around 1:15 p.m. on Monday.
The stabbing occurred in the driveway. Dispatchers were told that a woman stabbed a man, and the woman was still on the scene.
Officers arrived and tried to save the injured 36-year-old man. Mayo ambulance took the man to the St. Cloud Hospital, where he died.
The woman suspect was taken into custody.
The 40-year-old woman was taken to jail. She is being held pending charges.
The victim will be transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Officer for autopsy.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension’s Forensic Crime Scene Team assisted with processing the crime scene.
The stabbing remains an active investigation.
