(KNSI) – Two people from Litchfield were arrested after a drug bust Wednesday.
According to a press release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force executed a search warrant on a home in Litchfield that turned up over a pound of methamphetamine, almost six ounces of marijuana, numerous other pills suspected to be narcotics and over $1000 in cash. The street value for the meth, if sold by the gram, would be over $40,000.
A 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested and booked into the Meeker County jail to face first-degree drug charges. Police say more arrests are anticipated as the investigation is ongoing.
