(KNSI) – The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Willmar man Wednesday morning after they say they found drugs and handgun ammunition in his vehicle.
Authorities say a Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer called the sheriff’s office to report that a person was inside a vehicle with drug paraphernalia along Highway 23 near Hawick. A sheriff’s deputy responded to the scene and arrested a 23-year-old man on felony drug charges.
Authorities say they found methamphetamine, hydrocodone pills, handgun ammunition and 798.3 grams of synthetic cannabinoids with a street value of more than $15,000. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says the man was already on probation for previous drug charges.
