(KNSI) – Minnesota reports 2,004 new cases of COVID-19 and 19 deaths on Wednesday. The death count includes one person from Morrison County in their 90s and one person from Stearns County in their 70s.
The five-county St. Cloud area sees 175 new cases.

The state processed 25,884 COVID-19 tests on Tuesday, and 7.7 percent returned positive results.
Meanwhile, the state continues to make progress on vaccinations. 1,871,867 Minnesotans have received at least one vaccine dose as of Monday. Of those who have gotten the vaccine, 65 percent are now fully vaccinated. This means roughly one-third of Minnesota’s population has received at least one dose, and one out of every five Minnesotans is now fully vaccinated.
